Light + Intelligent Building Istanbul: Countdown begins for The new meeting point for the lighting and building automation technologies industry

There is only a few days left for the opening of the first edition of Light + Intelligent Building Istanbul which will be held in Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) on November 27-29, 2024. Organized by Messe Frankfurt Istanbul with the support of key organizations led by Lighting Equipment Manufacturers Association (AGID), Turkish National Committee on Lighting (ATMK), Istanbul Energy Inc, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), and the TMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects of Türkiye, the fair will bring together professionals from Türkiye and surrounding regions to host the industry's most important players.

Light+ Intelligent Building Istanbul will feature over 100 exhibitor companies from 7 different countries. Exhibitors will feature innovative products in decorative lighting, technical lighting, street and city lighting, home - building automation, electrical engineering, and more categories. The fair will host distributors and purchasing professionals from Türkiye and primarily from the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, Greece, and the Balkans. Trade visitors will include groups of domestic and international architects, engineers, contractors, interior designers, designers, distributors, and public institutions. Registered visitor figures have gone above expectations so far with 65% domestic and 35% international visitors from 52 countries.

Brussels-based Lighting Europe, represents the lighting industry across Europe, including 33 companies and national associations. With over 1,000 member companies, more than 80,000 employees and an annual turnover of 15 billion Euros, the organization actively promotes sustainable lighting solutions that enhance human comfort, safety, and environmental friendliness. Fahir Gök, Chairman of the Board of the Lighting Equipment Manufacturers Association (AGİD), also serves as a Board Member of Lighting Europe. Representatives of the association from 15 countries will visit Light + Intelligent Building Istanbul on November 27-29.

In addition to thousands of products and services featured at the fair, a comprehensive fringe program will take place. The major highlight of the program will be the Balkan Light 2024 Conference. Balkan Light Conference will take place on November 28-29, 2024, during Light+ Intelligent Building Istanbul to be held at Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The conference will be hosted by Turkish National Committee on Lighting (ATMK) with a focus on "Future of Lighting: Efficient and Intelligent" and will feature new studies on all aspects of lighting with invited guests.

Trend Talk is another fringe programme of the fair and will feature sessions and inspiring presentations on the latest innovations in the industry. The program will include expert speakers discussing the latest trends in lighting and building automation industry in detail. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with leading professionals in the field and gain insights into new technologies, innovative solutions, and future predictions.

E-House powered by Interra will welcome visitors throughout the fair, showcasing smart home, office, and facility solutions. Equipped with integrated technologies ranging from lighting control systems to climate and security solutions, this living space will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the future of home automation technologies.
